The SwissMilSim team develops former Swiss Air Force aircraft and puts them back in their original context on modelled aerodromes as they were in the past.
The association of the Flight Simulator Center (FSC), whose primary purpose is to provide visitors to the Payerne Aviation Museum with a wide range of virtual flight training, presents and revives these aircrafts from another time, during a demonstration or initiation.
The centre is ideally located inside the Military Aviation Museum in Payerne and all its instructors are above all enthusiasts and connoisseurs of Swiss military aviation, but also of the public means of simulating flight and the technical adventure represented by the evolution of aircraft used to defend the airspace of this small country.
Museums such as the Military Aviation Museum in Payerne, the Swiss Air Force Museum at Dübendorf airfield and the Aviation Museum in Altenrhein are very rich of old aircraft, objects and documents that are a bit like in a retirement home.
Computer simulation is mistaken for many for a simple game. For us, it allows to revive planes, aerodromes and flight and navigation techniques, of which only still memories remain and often reproduced only by images or texts. We would like to share our knowledge with Clin d’Ailes visitors and FSC initiators.
