Shedding Light on the Hunter: Progress with Advanced Illumination Systems
Work continues on the Hunter project, with the focus now on the installation and fine-tuning of three distinct lighting systems: UV, Cabin, and Instruments. Each system requires careful modeling and precise adjustment to achieve the desired level of realism and functionality.
While this is a time-consuming process, the payoff is substantial—the added depth, atmosphere, and authenticity these lighting elements bring to the simulation make every detail worth the effort. Step by step, the Hunter is coming closer to life, and the results are already showing great promise.
New Updates Now Available!
After additional testing in MSFS 2024, we’ve released updates for all three of our aircraft. The main improvements focus on the canopy and windshield textures, carefully reworked to prevent distracting reflections or overly pronounced scratch marks.
We also took the opportunity to revise the braking system, making ground handling and directional control more realistic and responsive.
Additionally, we’ve made several minor tweaks to the checklists and both manual and automatic startup procedures to further improve the flying experience.
Our aircraft are now even more enjoyable to fly—whether you’re in MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024!
Update in Progress for Our Three Classic Aircraft on the MSFS Marketplace
Our three classic aircraft — the Morane D-3801, Vampire DH-100, and Venom DH-112 — are currently being updated on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.
This update brings their internal folder and file structure in line with the latest standards for MSFS 2020, and more importantly, for MSFS 2024. A few minor refinements and improvements are also included.
The best part? All three aircraft remain fully operational in both simulator versions!
Now Available on Marketplace 2024: Three Classic Aircraft Ready for MSFS
As of today, our three MSFS 2020 aircraft — the Morane D-3801, Vampire DH-100, and Venom DH-112 — are officially available on the Marketplace 2024, and are fully compatible with the new simulator!
Our Hunter MK-58, developed natively for MSFS 2024, is in the works and expected to be released later this year.
Progress Update: Hunter Ejector Seat Model Completed
Interior modeling is progressing steadily with the completion of the Hunter ejector seat model. This marks another key milestone in the development process, bringing us one step closer to a fully detailed cockpit.
Inside the Hunter – A Stick Like No Other
In our Hunter, the control stick — affectionately called the “broom handle” — is a true Swiss Army knife. Its unique shape isn’t just for looks; it’s packed with buttons, switches, and levers, each serving a precise function. Though the top measures less than 20 cm, we’re crafting it with the utmost attention to detail for an authentic experience.
Development Update – Bringing the Hunter to Life
The work is progressing steadily, with a strong focus on the cockpit — refining animations for the sights, airbrakes, and various gauges to deliver a truly immersive experience. On the exterior, we’re taking full advantage of MSFS 2024’s new features, including “ClearCoat” textures, to create stunning visual effects that push realism even further.
Just a few more months to go before the Hunter lands on your PC or Xbox — stay tuned!
Progress on the Hunter MK.58 – Despite the Challenges
Despite the many export-related challenges we’re working through in collaboration with Asobo — and there are quite a few — development on our Hawker Hunter MK.58 is moving ahead steadily.
We’re sharing a few early images that showcase some of the features in progress: an operational gunsight built using modern heads-up display technologies (HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript), a work-in-progress exterior texture that supports rain and stunning metallic effects, and a glimpse into the cockpit interior, which is also coming together nicely.
While we’re pleased with how things are shaping up, there’s still a lot of work ahead before we can release this aircraft.
Thanks for your patience — it’ll be worth the wait!
